Crowne Plaza Competition 2007
Pupils were asked to design a new Savoury Dish for the lunch menu of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham. Of the 26 entries, 6 finalists were chosen who had to cook their dishes in 'Master-Chef' style cook-off in front of a panel of judges from the hotel. Aimee Shaw's Harissa Lamb with Moroccan Cous Cous was the winning dish. This will feature on the lunch menu at the hotel and Aimee will spend a day working alongside the Head Chef. Jade Ball, Charlotte Bates, Nicola Jackson, Kathryn Sargent and Lisa Smith were the other finalists who will all enjoy lunch at the hotel. Back to top
Crowne Plaza Competition 2008

42 pupils entered the competition to design a new lunch dish for the Crown Plaza Menu. The final was held at Farnborough School on Tuesday 17 June at 1pm.

Six finalists cooked in front of judges from the Crown Plaza.

Congratulations to the finalists, Corrine Wallis, Taanel Wilson, Jasmine Gill, Katie Bellaby, Hazel Dunnicliffe and Jordan Smithurst.
