8 May 2007 - RICHARD WINS A SCHOLARSHIP
Congratulations to Richard Gadd who won a scholarship with FTCKaplan.
From the Nottingham Evening Post 08 05 2007
A Teenager is to have his accountancy tuition fees paid for the next six years after winning a major scholarship.
Richard Gadd, 16, won a scholarship with FTCKaplan, a provider of accountancy training.
The Farnborough Technology College student said: "I'm really chuffed and quite proud that I have won this. It's going to be a great experience and hopefully enable me to get a job as a trainee accountant."
FTCKaplan, which has an office in Clumber Street in the city centre, approached schools around Notts to offer one student the chance to receive all of their accountancy tuition for free. The training will last five to six years.
Students had to put a business case as to why they should win this scholarship and were then interviewed by FTCKaplan.
